On 14-11-2024, the Department of Management Studies organized “One Day Program on Mock Stock Market Operations”. Mr. Sukumar from KAM Angel, Coimbatore, and Mr. Ramiah K from Angel One, Nagercoil, were the resource persons. The event began with the national anthem, followed by an insightful session led by the resource persons. They kicked off the program with a detailed PowerPoint presentation that covered the fundamentals of the stock market, stock trading, and investment strategies. The presentation provided students with a clear understanding of how the stock market operates, including the processes of buying and selling stocks, market trends, and the various factors that influence stock prices.

        The resource persons also elaborated on the importance of investment and how to make informed decisions when participating in the stock market. They explained concepts like risk management, diversification, and the role of different financial instruments in the market. Throughout the session, the students were encouraged to ask questions and interact with the resource persons, allowing them to clarify doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the stock market.
