On November 19, 2024, the Department of Management Studies organized a one-day workshop titled “Future Scope for Logistics Management.” The session was led by Mr. Baiju P., Second Officer and Navigation Officer from the Merchant Navy, representing D’Amico Shipping Company, Italy.

       The event commenced with the national anthem, followed by an insightful session conducted by the resource person. Mr. Baiju shared his vast knowledge and experiences in logistics, import-export operations, and the dynamics of global shipping. He delved into the significance of logistics in international trade, the evolving scope of the shipping industry, and the critical role of maritime operations in shaping global commerce.

       The workshop concluded at 1:30 PM, with a vote of thanks delivered by the Head of the Department of Management Studies. The session proved to be highly beneficial for students, providing them with practical insights and inspiring them to explore careers in logistics and shipping.
