ROMBAAS organized intra college technical event named SPECTRA 2024 on September 12,2024 with the aim of Igniting Innovation.
The students of department of management studies organized an intracollege “Management Meet- SPECTRA 2024”on the theme “ Building Growth Mindset ”, on 12th September 2024. The event was aimed to foster innovation by encouraging student entrepreneurs. A total of 240 students participated in various competitions like paper presentation, Best Manager, Business Quiz, AdZap,RolePlay, Dumb Charades,Corporate Walk, Paper Art.
The Chief Guest of the of the event was Dr.Sindhu .A.R,Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration,Govt. Arts and Science College,Anjugramam,Dr.R.Rajesh Principal of the college,Dr.Prem Shankari.G head of the department, Dr.JanarthananPillai,Professor shared the dais. Delivering the Key note address the Chief Guest expressed the need for social entrepreneurs especially in a country like India to solve social problems.
The Key event of the Meet was “Best Manager” where the students were encouraged with their innovative ideas for start-ups through their Business plan on the theme “Social Entrepreneurship”. The registered events were judged by various experts.
The second session of the meet has started with the first rounds of formal events which followed by the informal events and subsequent rounds of formal events. The day has come to an end with the valedictory session where the winners of all the formal events were given awards which was followed by a presentation of valedictory report by Dr.PremShankari.G, Head of the Department and vote of thanks by the student Cordinator.
