District level Yuva Utsav 2024 was held at Rohini college of Engineering and Technology, Palkulam at 13/12/2024. The programme was jointly organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kanyakumari and Rohini college of Engineering and Technology. The chief guest of the event was Shri. Mano Thankaraj, Member of Legislative Assembly and former minister of Tamil Nadu. The district youth officer of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kanyakumari, Shri. Gnana Chandran proposed the welcome address. The presidential address of the programme was delivered by Dr. R .Rajesh, the Principal of Rohini college of Engineering and Technology. The felicitation of the day was given by Shri. Gopakumar, Field Publicity Officer, Central Bureau of Communication, Tirunelveli and Shri. Selvaraj, Lead Bank Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Kanyakumari district. The chief guest Shri.T.Mano Thankaraj , initiated the programme with the inaugural address.

Several competitions were held based on the theme “PanchPran of Amritkal”. There were numerous participants who actively took part in Painting, Poetry, Writing, Declamation, Science Exhibition (Individual & Group). Winners were honoured with cash prizes and certificates. The programme was organised by Dr.Lekshmi.S, Assistant Prof. of English, RCET. The programme concluded successfully with National Anthem.
