The Department of Management Studies, in collaboration with its association, ROMBAASS (Rohini MBA Association), organized departmental student’s association day on September,04,2024, with the objective of broadening learning beyond the classroom. The goal is to create spaces that allow for staff-student contact and promote student involvement in the departmental learning communities. Leading Experts from the college and business sector spoke during the occasion, offering advice and insights to the incoming class of students. The ceremony emphasized the ideals and concepts necessary for achievement in both the workplace and the classroom.

Mr.C.S.Visakh Madhusudhanan,HR & Legal Head,Kaumudi Group of Companies, Trivandrum attended the event as the chief guest. The department head welcomed everyone to the special event and explained the assessment and grading systems. She outlined the rules and regulations that students are expected to follow during their academic journey. The presidential address was given by Dr. R. Rajesh, the principal of RCET and Dr.Janarthanan Pillai, Economy Expertise  gave a motivational talk and introduced the chief guest. Following the Chief Guest’s inauguration, Mr.C.S.Visakh Madhusudhanan gave a technical presentation on the subject of “Future of MBA Professional” He also explain the importance of having the right mindset: observing, orienting, deciding, and acting. He emphasized the value of taking calculated risks and maintaining a strong reputation. Student Renju, of II MBA delivered vote of thanks and the programme was concluded with the technical session by the chief guest and II MBA students conducted Department Gaming Competition post lunch as part of the association day celebrations.

To undertake the activities of the association, an executive committee was formed. The committee consists of one president and Vice President from the final year MBA Class, selected by the co-coordinator of the association. The class representatives of the first and second year MBA will be the members. The head of the department of Management Studies Dr.Prem Shankari.G as the President and Ms.George Mary Aarthi.F, Assistant Professor was elected as the coordinator of the activities of the association with help of student representatives and other staff members in the department. The Oath was taken by the members during the session is a reminder of their responsibilities and the trust that the fellow mates have placed in them.

The selected members are advised to discharge their duties and responsibilities during their tenure, which is 1 Year. All the students will automatically enrolled into Departmental Association. No separate enrollment procedure exists. The event was hosted by Safrina Banu,Students of II MBA.
