Renowned Motivational Speaker Dr. Dhamu Inspired Students with “I’m a Champion” Session at SAHAR 2023
The resounding success of SAHAR 2023, the association day of 1st year, held on August 5, 2023, was marked by the unwavering support and guidance of the Chairman, Pro-chairman, Managing Director and the beloved Principal. The event, organized with utmost enthusiasm, showcased the dedication and commitment of the RCET management team in creating a memorable and impactful occasion. The event, which drew participants and attendees from various Engineering Colleges across the region, was a testament to the collaborative spirit fostered within the institution.
SAHAR 2023 was graced by the presence of Dr. Dhamu, a distinguished motivational speaker and a devoted disciple of the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, as the Chief Guest of the day. Dr. Dhamu’s powerful and inspiring educational awareness session, titled “I’m a Champion,” left a lasting impact on the students. As a recipient of the National Pride award for educational services and the Rashriya Shiksha Gourav Puraskar 2021, Dr. Dhamu’s speech moved students to tears, igniting a sense of determination and empowerment.
Dr. Dhamu, known for his insightful talks that combine personal anecdotes, motivational stories, and practical advice, delivered an address that resonated deeply with the audience. The campus of RCET came alive with a wave of creativity and competitive spirit as a multitude of intra-collegiate and inter-collegiate competitions were held as part of SAHAR 2023. As the event drew to a close, the valedictory function saw the distribution of prizes to triumphant participants, acknowledging their exceptional efforts.
A distinguished atmosphere of achievement and pride enveloped SAHAR ’23 as academic excellence took center stage during the valedictory function. The spotlight shone on Mr. Beni Rojith, a standout student from the Computer Science and Engineering department, who received the prestigious meritorious prize for his outstanding performance in the Anna University first semester examinations with his remarkable GPA of 9.75.
The commitment of RCET, creating a conducive environment for growth and innovation was evident throughout the event. The event concluded on a high note, leaving participants and attendees inspired and energized with the cultural events of first year students.
