On February 21th, 2025, Department Of Mechanical Engineering organized a guest lecture on “ CHALLENGES IN METAL ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING ” for third-year Mechanical Engineering students. The session was delivered by Dr.V. Ananda Krishnan, Professor department of Production Engineering NIIT Trichy. The guest lecturer provided an introduction to additive manufacturing also known as 3D printing highlighting its fundamental principles and significance as a key enabler of industry 4.0
