Rohini College of Engineering & Technology  and The Institution of Engineers (India) – Kanyakumari Local Centre (IEI KKLC) organized a special event on World Water Day 2025 on March 22, 2025, at Rohini College of Engineering & Technology, focusing on the theme “Glacier Preservation.” The event aimed to highlight the crucial role of glaciers in the global water cycle and the urgent need for conservation efforts in response to climate change.

The event featured two Keynote Addresses, beginning with Er. S. Natarajan, who spoke on “Engineering Solutions for Glacier Preservation.

Following this, Dr. J. Prakash Arul Jose delivered an insightful address on “Impact of Climate Change on Glaciers and Water Security.”

The event successfully emphasized the urgency of glacier preservation and the role of engineering solutions in mitigating climate change..
