Rohini College of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous) successfully conducted SPECTRA ’26, an Intra-College Mega Technical & Innovation Fest, on 24 September 2026 at The Grand Arena.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. M. Prathap, IAS, District Collector, Kanniyakumari District, who formally declared the fest open. The inauguration marked the beginning of a vibrant celebration of technology, innovation, creativity and student talent.

SPECTRA ’26 was organised with the theme “Innovate • Integrate • Inspire”, providing students with a platform to explore ideas, demonstrate technical skills and showcase their creativity. The fest featured diverse segments including Mobilitas & Greenverse 2026, TechNova, Industria & Futureverse, Flavourverse 2026 and VIBRance, covering areas such as sustainable mobility, smart technologies, agriculture, space and future technologies, culinary creativity, music, dance, fashion and cultural performances.

Students actively participated in various technical, innovative, creative and cultural activities, demonstrating their problem-solving abilities, teamwork, technical knowledge and artistic talents. The event created opportunities for students to collaborate, exchange ideas and transform innovative concepts into practical solutions.

The fest also featured a total prize pool of ₹2,00,000, recognising and encouraging outstanding performances across the various competitions and events. The enthusiastic participation of students made the programme an engaging and memorable celebration of talent and innovation.
