A Blood Donation Camp was jointly organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Rohini College of Engineering & Technology in association with Government Hospital, Thuckalay, Thuckalay Blood Bank, Primary Health Centre, Alagappapuram, Agastheeswaram Block, Youth Red Cross, and Red Ribbon Club on 26 September 2026 at the Opulent Hall.

The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting the importance of voluntary blood donation and creating awareness among students and the community about the vital role of blood donation in saving lives. The event provided an opportunity for volunteers to contribute towards meeting the demand for safe and timely blood supply. The collaborative efforts of the NSS, healthcare institutions, and student service organizations contributed to the successful conduct of the camp.

The programme reflected the institution’s commitment to social responsibility, community service, and humanitarian values, while encouraging students to actively participate in meaningful service activities.
