The Department of Agricultural Engineering at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous) successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on “Modern Farm Machinery and Equipment” on 05 August 2026 at the Agricultural Field. The workshop was conducted for III Year Agricultural Engineering students with the objective of enhancing their practical knowledge of modern agricultural technologies and mechanization.

The session was led by Mr. J. Hari Krishnan, Product Specialist, Andreas STIHL Pvt. Ltd., who shared valuable insights into the latest advancements in farm machinery and equipment. The workshop featured hands-on training, live demonstrations of agricultural implements, tractor and power tiller familiarization, interactive field demonstrations, and practical sessions that enabled students to understand the operation and maintenance of modern farming tools.

The workshop provided an excellent platform for students to develop technical skills in farm mechanization while gaining industry exposure. The interactive sessions emphasized the role of modern machinery in improving agricultural productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. Students actively participated throughout the programme, making the workshop an informative and enriching learning experience.
