The Department of Mechanical Engineering facilitated the participation of III Year Mechanical Engineering students in the SAEIndia Southern Region’s 8th Edition of the Bicycle Design Challenge, held at TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala on 11th and 12th April 2026.
The event provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their technical skills, creativity, and teamwork in the field of design and engineering. Our students actively participated in the competition and demonstrated commendable performance throughout the event.
The team achieved a significant milestone by securing Second Place in the Special Chairman Category Award, bringing recognition and pride to the institution.
The team was guided and supported by the Head of the Department, Dr. Kailainathan, whose encouragement played a vital role in their achievement.
