On December 8th, 2025, the ISTE Chapter of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology organized a Guest Lecture on “Leadership & Service: A Professional Overview of the Indian Navy” for the students of Third Year ECE, EEE, MECH, MCA, and Diploma EEE.
The event began with a Presidential Address by Dr. R. Rajesh, Principal of RCET, who spoke about the importance of leadership, discipline, and service in building a successful career. Commander Ravish Chugh then introduced the naval officers — Commander A. Parthiban, the seniormost officer, Mrs. Sangeeta and Mrs. Manjusha.
Lieutenant Anand delivered an interesting presentation about the structure, values, and career opportunities in the Indian Navy. He explained various entry schemes such as NDA, CDSE, UES, and SSC, and encouraged students to consider a career in the Navy, which offers professional growth, adventure, and global exposure.
The Q&A session allowed students to clarify their doubts about training, eligibility, and Navy life. The officers answered every question patiently and motivated students to work with dedication and pride.
The event ended with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the officers for their inspiring and informative session. Overall, the lecture was motivating and insightful, giving students a better understanding of leadership, service, and career opportunities in the Indian Navy.
